Art and music have been my most important companions since childhood. Without them I could not imagine a life.
At the age of 16 I met Michael Vetter (artist and musician) who motivated me, in addition to music, to work with him artistically. Through him I received, among other things, the stimulus to work intensively with calligraphy. Furthermore, I invested an increasing amount of time with watercolor painting as well as with charcoal and pencil drawings.
Although I decided to study music after graduating from high school, art accompanied me throughout my life. I worked for 25 years in the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany (Kunst- und Ausstellungshalle der BRD), where I gained extensive knowledge of the art market, among other things through my work within the educational department as well as through this venue’s countless exhibitions.
With the founding of my Musicstudio and Gallery in 2009, I finally had the unique opportunity to fully dedicate myself to art again. In the meantime, the gallery has become an important place for the presentation of national and international artists within the “Beethoven” city of Bonn. Here, especially the intimate connection of art with a musical ambience forms its unique charm.
